He also provides intellectual property services for emerging companies in the Silicon Valley in the United States;
From 2003 to 2005, Dr. Jiang worked as an intellectual property lawyer at NTD Patent & Trademark Agency Ltd. in Beijing, China and Ella Cheong (HK) Limited, an intellectual property law firm in Hong Kong, China, and provided comprehensive intellectual property services for domestic and foreign enterprises;
From 2005 to 2012, Dr. Jiang served as an intellectual property consultant of Schlumberger, managed the intellectual property and legal affairs of a research and development center that grew from more than 40 staff to more than 400 staff, and was responsible for the company’s intellectual property strategy in China, domestic and foreign patent application and management, patent infringement and invalidation analysis, intellectual property due diligence, intellectual property management of product life cycle and review of right of free operation, patent and technology landscape map and patent risk analysis, contract negotiation and management involving patented technologies, establishment of intellectual property protection policies in China, establishment of trade secret protection processes, establishment and review of open source software policies, establishment of contract management processes with Chinese characteristics, intellectual property training for employees, intellectual property transfer, and other relevant legal support;
From 2013 to 2017, Dr. Jiang joined the law firm Tahota, and was responsible for the business development and internal management of its intellectual property rights;
From 2017 to 2018, Dr. Jiang served as a senior intellectual property consultant of Ant Financial, and was responsible for intellectual property-related contract negotiation, patent management, patent infringement analysis, and intellectual property and legal support for business departments;

Hu Wang

Practice experience:
Mr. Wang is currently a researcher at Southwest University of Political Science and Law, an arbitrator of Chongqing Arbitration Commission, etc. He ever worked in multiple roles such as director of the Patent Reexamination Committee and Trademark Office of China National Intellectual Property Administration and chief judge of Beijing Intellectual Property Court.
He has worked in research of intellectual property protection and intellectual property policies and regulations for a long time, undertaken and participated in more than 20 national and provincial research projects, co-authored 2 books, published more than 20 academic papers, participated in the formulation and introduction of more than 20 local regulations and policy documents on intellectual property, including the formulation of the Outline for Building an Intellectual Property Power of China and the Pilot Implementation Plan for Granting Scientists Ownership in and Long-term Use Rights of Scientific Achievements of China, undertaken the research of related topics including the fourth revision of the Patent Law of China, and dealt with many major intellectual property disputes.
